Is PixTools free?
Yes. The background remover, image cropper, upscaler, and QR generator are free, with no account or watermark in this MVP.
Do I need to create an account?
No signup. Open a tool, upload a file or paste text, and download the result.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping, enlarging, QR generation, and background removal run in your browser. Files are not sent to PixTools servers. The background remover may download a public model into your cache; your photo still stays on the device.
Is the image upscaler generative AI?

Does a generated QR code expire?
No. You keep a PNG or SVG. We do not host the destination, so the code cannot expire.
